Rent a Private Yacht Right Here in Brooklyn
Brooklyn is where we dock — but every charter is a full private yacht rental in NYC: the same 47-foot yacht, the same skyline, booked online from $1,250.
No crowded party boats, no shared decks. NYC by Yacht is a Brooklyn-based boat rental departing from Bay 41st Street in Bath Beach – minutes from Coney Island and the Verrazzano Bridge. Your group gets the whole 47-foot Meridian yacht to yourselves, with a licensed captain, for up to 12 guests. It’s the private, local way to see New York Harbor: your people, your music, your day on the water.
Why Rent a Boat in Brooklyn (Instead of Manhattan)
Starting from Brooklyn puts you closer to the best water. Manhattan marinas mean a long, slow transit before you see anything – departing Bath Beach, you’re on open water in minutes: Coney Island, the Verrazzano-Narrows, Gravesend Bay and the Lower Bay right there, with a straight shot up the harbor to the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. Shorter transit means more of your booked hours actually spent on the sights. And it’s the only nearby launch for Coney Island fireworks cruises all summer.
Where You’ll Cruise from Brooklyn
Every charter is private, so the route is yours to shape with the captain. The favorites:
- The harbor loop – out past the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge toward the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and the Lower Manhattan skyline
- Coney Island & the beaches – south along Brooklyn’s shoreline, Gravesend Bay and the Atlantic inlet
- Sunset & skyline – golden hour over the harbor, the city lighting up as you head back in
- Friday fireworks – Coney Island’s Friday Night Fireworks, viewed from the water, every week through late August
