Rules & Policies

Alcohol Policy

We allow one bottle of hard liquor per 6 guests onboard. If you bring more than this limit, we’ll ask you to leave the excess alcohol at the dock for pickup after your return.

  • Beer, wine, and hard seltzers are not counted toward the liquor limit—but we kindly ask that you drink responsibly.
  • If the crew feels that you or your guests are too intoxicated at any point, the cruise will immediately return to the dock and your trip will be ended without refund.

Food Guidelines

You're welcome to bring light, easy-to-serve items, such as:

  • Sandwiches
  • Finger foods
  • Cold cut or fruit platters

Please do not bring:

  • Soups, greasy/hot foods, or dishes prone to spilling
  • Full-service catered meals—we are not able to serve them onboard
  • Sternos, open flames, or any cooking equipment

Note: The hostess may assist with reheating small items in the microwave only.

Captain & Crew

All characters must be operated by a licensed and insured captain. Here's how it works:

  • We’ll provide a list of qualified captains to choose from based on your trip date.
  • All captain and crew fees must be paid directly to the crew at the marina before your trip begins.
  • The captain and any first mate are independent contractors, under your control for the trip duration.
  • We cannot release the vessel unless the selected captain confirms payment and agreement to operate.
  • A Bareboat Charter Agreement and waiver must be signed by the Charterer and all guests before boarding.
  • Don’t forget to tip your captain and crew for their service—it’s greatly appreciated!

Yacht Safety Rules

  • No bowriding. Riding, sitting, or walking on the front (bow) or swim platform while the yacht is in motion is strictly prohibited and illegal in NYC.
  • Keep all hands, feet, and personal items inside the yacht at all times while underway.
  • Coast Guard-approved safety equipment is provided and must be used as instructed.

Behavior Expectations

While your selected captain is under your authority for the trip, all guests must follow safety orders from the captain and hostess at all times.

If the captain determines that behavior onboard is unsafe, they have full discretion to terminate the trip and return to dock without refund.

Flybridge Use

The flybridge (upper deck) has a maximum capacity of 6 guests. Please make sure not to exceed this limit for safety.

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is allowed only on the aft lower deck (rear outdoor area).
  • No cigars, hookahs, or open-flame devices are allowed anywhere onboard.

Arrival & Boarding

  • Arrive at the marina at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure with your entire group.
  • Your assigned hostess will meet you at the gate and escort you to the yacht.
  • The hostess cannot escort incomplete parties, per marina security policy.

Important:

  • The Charterer (renter) must be present with a valid government-issued ID, and must be 21 years or older.
  • No boarding will be permitted without ID verification and a signed Bareboat Charter Agreement.
  • The Charterer should inspect the vessel before and after the trip to confirm condition and note any issues. We encourage you to notify us of any damage or concerns so we can document accordingly.
